HOUND DOGS BASEBALL TEAM
GENEVE



The Hound Dogs Geneve Baseball Team was founded in 1986.

In 1986, the Team was composed of swiss and Latin-american players. The latter brought their know-how to the Swiss members.

From 1987 the Hound Dogs started to consolidate by winning several times the 1st division Swiss Championships and, thereon, the A-league Swiss Championship until getting upto the 2nd position in the European Championship.

Between 1994 and 1996, the Hound Dogs won the 1st place at 2 international games in Lyon (France), Avigliana (Italy) and the 2nd place in the Swiss A-league.

Since 1997, the team counts 16 south-american, 2 swiss and 1 north-american player. The FRB (Fédération Romande de Baseball) championship ended in September 1997 and the Hound Dogs ranked the first place.
